Methotrexate is a disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD) that works by reducing inflammation and slowing abnormal immune system activity.
Mavenic® is an antimetabolite drug (a purine analog) prescribed for the treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS) in adults. It works by selectively targeting B and T lymphocytes (specific immune cells involved in the development of MS), helping to reduce relapses and slow disease progression.
